The Workplace Challenge

Look at the workplace. Insecurity, resentment, envy, unhappiness and selfishness are often prevalent. Rivalries thrive. Greed drives daily decisions. Products and services fall short of their promises. Employers and employees are at odds with one another. Many Christians check their faith at the door. The workplace needs help.

God is changing society. You can be a part of it. The Challenge Weekend outlines how, allowing attendees the opportunity to join in with what the Father is doing.

The Challenge Weekend, conducted for men and women separately, enables participants to look at their lives from the perspective of God’s vocation for us individually and collectively. It examines our life in view of the practical aspects of the world and our workplaces.

More than 10,000 men and women have attended Challenge Weekends over the last 20 years. These weekends are conducted by members of Christians in Commerce, fellow business men and women. They speak from the context of a lived experience in Christ. Lives are transformed as a result of participating in a Challenge Weekend. The Challenge Weekend

The Weekend consists of eight brief talks followed by periods of reflection and small-group discussions that explore the following questions:

How can we know God and his plan?
What stands in our way?
What is Jesus’ call to us?
How do we have the power to answer the call?
How do we build a meaningful relationship with God?
How can we live as Christ?
How can we be Christ and stewards of his creation in our workplaces?
How can we join together in this work?
