Is the Lord trying to point me in a new direction I haven’t considered?
It's almost as though, in our willingness to be used by God to love others, he dumps truckloads of love back on us! There's no way to out-give God.

I once wondered how these fishermen could just leave their lifetime occupations to follow Jesus. My philosophy was to say yes only if I was sure I could do it. I learned more about how this might have happened once my faith came alive after being baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Due to my job situation, I take frequent flights. Recently, I experienced a full day of encounters that not only blessed me, but enabled me to be a blessing to someone else.
TAKE THE CHALLENGE: When I pray, do I truly believe that God hears me and that he will answer?
What prevents us from sharing Jesus with others? For me the biggest impediment is fear. One thing I have noticed about fear is that the more you do something, the less fearful of it you are. The difficult part is taking that first step.
The experience caused me to wonder about the potential impact of this behavior. How does faith bashing help demonstrate the life and teachings of our Lord and Savior? We should always strive for our behavior and words to tell the story of Christ's love and leave the judging to him.
John the Baptist humbly describes himself in the above scripture as Jesus’ best man. He not only joyfully announces Jesus’ coming, he also shares a personal testimony about becoming less while Jesus becomes greater. If we preach or serve Jesus in a way that makes us greater and him less, we have taken the bride away from the bridegroom.
