Christians in Commerce Leadership Institute forms and develops Christian leadership. The Institute provides a forum for Christians to grow individually and together as effective disciples of Jesus Christ.
Materials are provided requiring independent study prior to group sessions for discussion and shared insights. General sessions are an hour long and include a facilitator to help unpack the topics further as well as small group discussions for personal application. All topics give practical directions for forming a life of faith, integrity and excellence.
Series One: Growing with God
The course is a topical scripture study with practical implications. Subjects are based on key components of the Christian faith. They include: Love of the Father, Lordship of Jesus, Life in the Spirit, A Life of Prayer, Freedom in Christ, Not Loving the World, Resist the Devil, Doing God’s Will, Being a Kingdom Builder.
Series Two: Hope for the Workplace – Christ in You
This series examines the challenges faced by Christians to live out their faith in today’s workplace using the book authored by Bill Dalgetty, former President and Chairman of the Board for Christians in Commerce. Relying on Scripture, Church teaching, the writings of both Catholic and Protestant leaders and fifty real life stories, the book underscores the call to be filled with the Spirit and empowered to bring hope and transformation to their workplaces.
